| When we know how our Good Father thinks about us we can rest in the middle of any storm knowing He is not only with us, but His smile is upon us. We can rest in the middle of grading a stack of papers on a full day confidently knowing our Savior is the one who’s supplying all of our needs for everything in life and godliness and every spiritual blessing in Christ (see 2 Peter 1:3). He stands with you, holds your hand even when you’re up teaching lessons that you maybe didn’t fully prepare for, or you feel inadequate to teach. As you seek to hear God’s specific truths for you to hold onto this fall, I want to share a Love Letter from Papa God I wrote in my devotional the Kingdom Educator Prayer Journal. It’s actually a word of encouragement I received for myself during a quiet time while I was teaching at a difficult middle school. I pray it strengthens your heart. “You are My Beloved One fully welcomed into my courts of heaven. Your voice matters in my presence and what you declare will come to pass. Come sit with me that I might show you what to speak as your words are weighty by my power alone. As my daughter or son, you eat impossibility for breakfast because my yolk is easy and my burden is light. “I take on the cares of the world. So you simply get to walk hand held in mine, doing only what I ask of you, and nothing more.”I am not concerned with performance. You are free of ever performing. I have already chosen you to be my sweet lamb and I take great delight and pleasure in you just because you are mine. You don’t have any identity issues because you’ve been bought by my blood and what I say stands firm from generation to generation.”I never forget you. You are always on my mind. I have amazing things to fulfill in your lifetime. You are anointed to release captives from the spiritual powers of wickedness and you do this by declaring my truth into and around the lives you encounter. “Sometimes I will have you just stand in a place to bring a breakthrough. Other times you will physically speak into specific lives and over regions of territory. My favor rests on you so you will see shifts in the atmosphere wherever you go. “My love, you will be astonished and amazed for I will never disappoint you. Know without a shadow of a doubt that your school is your place of favor and assignment and you have my authority to shift things and release people from dark powers.”See yourself as one who is advancing against the gates of darkness as an Overcoming One, strengthened by the power of my might. Wherever you dwell, the powers of darkness are not safe because the gates of hell will not prevail against you as a called out one from Jesus’s body of believers.” Feel free to take the statements God is highlighting for you and begin to declare them over yourself… it’ll change everything!
